You can start without a template
Not every apartment has a useful PDF floor plan. On Mac or iPad, StellKlar lets you create an empty metric plan and draw rooms yourself. Check important dimensions in the actual apartment before making decisions.
Set up the plan area
Choose the option to draw your own floor plan, then enter the plan's width and depth in metres. This is your workspace, not an automatically surveyed apartment. Give the plan page a clear name.
Draw and size rooms
Create rectangular rooms by dragging or entering width, depth and height. Begin with larger rooms, then add smaller areas. A drawn plan already uses metres, so no PDF line calibration is needed.
Add openings and furniture
Place walls, doors and windows where they really are. Door swings matter near furniture. Add a sofa, bed or wardrobe, then enter its real dimensions and allow space for doors and drawers.
Save and check on site
Save a project file and export a PDF or PNG view if needed. Measure narrow doors, recesses, sloped ceilings and transport routes before buying or moving. The drawing is only as accurate as the measurements you enter.
